WUBEN PL01 Featherlight High-Lumen Penlight

The PL01s dual sided clip works very well. It’s pretty hard to take the clip off, which isn’t a bad thing. I’d rather spend a little time getting it off rather than have it fall off of the flashlight randomly. Clip retains the flashlight very well in my pocket.
The only complaint I would say I have is it’s rather long, so whenever I bend down and it’s in my pocket it does prevent some of my movement. Seeing as the length is the whole aspect to a pen light though, I can’t really complain.
While the PL01 doesn’t have very much throw, it does cover a pretty good area. I’ve been using it to take my dogs out and it lights up the field fairly well. For work purposes it does a phenomenal job.
I’m a big fan of the battery itself having the charge port instead of the flashlight itself. I work in very dusty conditions consistently and ports tend to get plugged really quickly. With the battery having the charger port and the flashlight having no external components that could break I simply have to wipe down the outside of the flashlight and don’t have to worry about anything. There’s no rubber flap that could come out, or break off.
Overall I’m very impressed with the PL01 and have loved the experience!

Top quality gear. I have many wuben products and all of them are first class pieces of equipment. I use the L50 flash lifts for working on cars and hunting and they get all sorts of abuse. Especially being dropped from 3-6’high. Some are two years old and are beat up but still function perfectly. This light seems to be of the same quality. Love the wuben line of products. Found them by accident and have come to trust them greatly.

I actually bought a few spares because I didn’t think they would hold up as good as they do, but I had to give those away as Christmas gifts because I just wasn’t gonna need them anytime soon as the others nearly bullet proof.

From the minute I opened the box, I couldn’t wait to drop a review. I didn’t realize that it included a rechargeable battery when I bought it. This makes the price point a real bargain. It includes the charging cable, battery, lanyard and even spare O rings. You have to remove the battery to recharge it, but that’s ok since it keeps the case waterproof. You can even substitute regular AAA’s while it’s recharging. The click on/off switch lets you toggle through the four brightness settings, and the slim design lets you slide it into either pocket without being too bulky.

I’d give this one a ten out of ten. Well done, Wuben!

I have a ton of great flashlights but one thing in common is that none of them can fit comfortably inside my work shirt pocket or even a regular shirt pocket. This light does the trick and provides me with more than enough lumens as I do my inspection work. The throw distance is also surprisingly good. Although battery life is about what you’d expect for something this size.

I’ve started carrying this more often now since it’s so small and light, I love the tail cap trigger for lights and how I can easy bite down on this to free up my hands if need be.

Since this flashlight provides a more neutral light? It’s perfect for inspection work since the cool white will drown out colors.

Made out of rock solid materials, I love it it’s rechargeable which make it more convenient. Low light mode last almost the entire day! Pocketable, you can put it in your pocket just like a regular size pen. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

New release this is an outstanding pending light very easy to go from low to high. It remembers the last setting. You used very impressed with us had many other petites. These guys seem to be really innovating. The prices are a great value for what you get totally impressed with highly recommended Great for just about any use.
