E7YCT Battery Extender for E7

The E7 is a small, powerful light that punches well above its weight class. The light gets super bright but has 3 settings. I ordered the larger battery but it hasn’t come yet. It fits great in the head strap and it very adjustable.

I really don't know if it works because I somehow only ordered a tube for extending battery life without a battery. So its sitting on my desk like a nice shiny paperweight. Eventually I will get down to figuring out which battery to use and my E7 headband light will be even more useful at super bright setting for longer duration. It would be more convenient when ordering the bundle to include a battery option for purchase. Either way this will probably be useful product to buy if you like out doors and super bright light being used with greater duration.

The extension as a good extra, when needing that additional power of a 18650.
The material is very good. Only flaw is that the thread is a bit off clocking. When screwed onto my E7, the housings would not line up. That becomes fiddly when you want to use the torch with its headband, as you cannot push the torch easily through the holder.
All in all, I would recommend everyone spending those extra $ on it. It’s an upgrade you will certainly need one day.
