Had to replace the lower heating element in our wall oven. Stuck the G5 to the back wall of the oven with the magnet, swiveled the light where I needed it at the far back, worked like a charm.
Turned the breaker back on, preheated the oven to 300. "Hmm, why is the oven light staying on...?". Yup. It wasn't the oven light that was on. Fished the G5 out with a pair of pliers. 5 minutes later it was still too hot to hold in my hand...still working though! After it cooled, it still works perfectly. The little sliding adjuster on the strap melted into a glob, and the lens over the led melted and deformed a bit. But aside from that, it's unscathed.
Wuben, if you feel like sending me a replacement, I won't say no. Haha.
Love the light, and love the fact that it's not a plastic piece of junk.

The 1st charge didn’t last very long but after charging it again, it works fine. I keep it in my bag and haven’t charged in 3 weeks and the light is still strong. I don’t use it every single day but still very bright. It’s there when I need it🤗
